Matt has worked on two projects for me; the first was as project lead on a major renovation at our work place (a not-for-profit organisation).
This project went on for a many months and involved a very large villa, being an old building we encountered plenty of unplanned issues on the way.
Matt managed everything brilliantly, he kept us informed for the decision-making all the way, he went far out of his way to ensure costs were controlled and that staff disruption was kept to a minimum and managed.
I was so impressed with Matt’s integrity, reliability and workmanship that it was without hesitation some months’ later that I asked him to do a building project on my newly purchased home. Prior to purchasing the house Matt (upon my request) did an inspection and identified some issues, he recommended getting a full professional inspection - which showed the exact same issues and no more!
As with our work premises Matt was scrupulously honest, reliable, professional and a pleasure to deal with. Despite encountering a few issues that weren’t expected, again from being an older property we did not have a cost blow-out and I was clearly aware of all costs before any work was undertaken. Much of this work took place while I was out of the country and I was completely comfortable with how this worked out.
The other piece of the work at home for me was to project manage the entire scope of work. This considerably reduced stress and time for me and I appreciated this well-handled process. I would recommend Matt without hestiation.
